Moon Spruce - Originating from Switzerland, Moon spruce possesses a white snowy appearance and a straight, tight wood grain. It can accommodate different climates exceptionally, which makes it one of the more durable and stable tone woods. It takes time to open up but its sound will have rich overtones in tandem with complex tonal harmonics.

Cocobolo - Cocobolo has a striking reddish wood grain and although it is part of the family of rosewood, it is much harder and denser. These special characteristics make this hardwood punch back with more power, all the while delivering a clearer pronounced sound. It sustains a saturated fuller sound in the high, mid and low ranges. The extra low resonance tone it carries is truly remarkable. This tonewood is often labeled as the “holy grail” for finger-style playing.

Top, back and sides are all solid wood. aNueNue uses wood that has been naturally air dried wood and are season for many years before even being put into production. All our solid woods are used for our high end pieces. All aNueNue’s solid wood pieces require time to open up and will develop an overall distinguished more complex harmonic tone quality.

His guitars, in terms of tone, design, and workmanship, each have the highest standards of handmade acoustic guitar. aNueNue and Sugita spent three years of R&D, selected air-dry wood, and humidity control facility. This new design features a slightly shorter 640mm scale, which produces crystal clear trebles, warm mids, and incredible deep lows.
